To uninstall Avast Cleanup Premium from your PC, follow the steps in the sections below according to your program version.

Instructions for Avast Cleanup Premium standalone

1. Log into Windows as a user with administrator permissions and ensure no other application or antivirus software is running on your PC.
2. Right-click the Windows Start button and select Apps and Features from the menu that appears.

Instructions for the Cleanup component of Avast Antivirus

1. Open the Avast user interface and click ☰Menu ▸ Settings.
2. Select the Components tab from the left panel, scroll to the bottom and click the Cleanup panel to expand the section. Then click Uninstall Component.
3. Click OK to confirm the Cleanup component uninstallation.
4. Click Restart computer at the top of the Components screen, then click Restart Now to complete the Cleanup component uninstallation.

The Cleanup component is now removed from Avast Antivirus. To install the Cleanup component again, repeat the steps above and click Install Component in step 2.
